In order to encourage people aged 65 and over living in municipal housing to use digital technologies, the City of Vienna, together with Wiener Wohnen, is implementing the AALbin (Active in Old Age with Digitalisation) pilot project at Per-Albin-Hansson-Siedlung estate in Favoriten. 30 senior citizens will receive a tablet and a smart watch with mobile emergency call as well as workshops for support. Mutual learning will be in the focus right up to the end of 2022.
