What levers could European cities use to push the planning and implementation of positive energy districts (PEDs)? This is what Vienna is researching together with Brussels and Stockholm in an interdisciplinary team of international experts. Reflections on the findings of the analysis will be handled jointly by these three cities and together with a larger group of other cities - a "community of practice" - throughout the EU.
The analysis of PED projects in Europe provides the material substance for the theoretical project framework. For Vienna and other cities in Austria, we coordinate the dialogue process and organise local stakeholder workshops.
