World Cultural Heritage Site Vienna management plan

How should Vienna deal with its UNESCO World Heritage Site Historic Centre of Vienna in the future, how to embed the cultural heritage into the city‘s dynamic development? The management plan will provide guidelines for reconciling protection, conservation, renewal and innovative new developments. Heritage qualities should continue to be appreciated in the future, while at the same time the future-oriented Vienna should also have room for development.

As general manager, we are design and coordinate all processes necessary for the creation of the management plan, on which representatives from political, scientific and economic institutions are working together.
