Phasing Out Gas

We support the City of Vienna’s goal to be climate neutral by 2040 on various levels. Our biggest task is to support the “100 Projects Out of Gas” initiative, which uses various existing residential buildings to show how the switch to renewable energy can be successful.

Our tasks include the acquisition and screening of projects as well as advice on technical options, funding and legal issues. We coordinate accompanying studies, build networks and maintain them. From the specific questions raised in different buildings, we derive questions that are relevant for the entire city and ensure coordinated knowledge management. We also support the accompanying communication of the initiative.
