Better quality of living in old age through digitalisation

How can digitalisation improve the quality of living of Viennese senior citizens? For three years, the project dealt with the opportunities offered by new ICT and AAL technologies for improving everyday life. Mobility, social integration, safety and health were in the focus. Participants among other things were given a tablet with the WAALTeR app, a blood pressure monitor connected via Bluetooth, as well as smart watches with an emergency call and a fall detector.

As consortium leader, we took over the entire project management and communication with the funding agency, moderated the advisory board meetings and accounted for public relations work.
